CA$50 million - Lotto max winnings unclaimed

This week's Lotto Max is continuing its quest to find a mega jackpot because last Friday's draw didn't determine the winner. The main prize money was C$50 million, but ticket holders should not be discouraged as the jackpot is much higher for the next draw on Tuesday, December 7, 2021.

Lotto Max is one of Canada's most generous lottery-based games because it can offer 70 million Canadian dollars in prize money and receives a lot of attention from enthusiastic fans of such games. Once the winnings exceed 50 million Canadian dollars, the draw can offer several Max Million awards, each estimated to be a whopping one million Canadian dollars.

Unfortunately, for all ticket holders of the Lotto Max title, last Friday's Dec. 3, 2021 draw did not find a single winner for the $50 million Canadian dollar prize. The winning numbers for the draw were 07, 18, 22, 35, 37, 43, 45, and bonus 44. In the next round, the prize money will reach C$55 million, and players can now purchase tickets for the draw on Tuesday, Dec. 7.

Friday's round was also unfavourable for the two Maximilian awards that could be caught, as both remained unowned. Their winning numbers were 02, 08, 10, 11, 44, 46 & 50 and 10, 19, 31, 34, 36, 38 & 43, respectively. In addition, the much larger Canadian $55 million winnings will also come with four Maximilian awards.

However, this week, the Ontario Lottery and Game Company announced some surprising news. According to Crown's report, the Ontario ticket holder won $8.8 million worth of prize money in Lotto 6/49, another fairly popular lottery game. The winning ticket was purchased in Mississauga, but due to security concerns, the exact location will not be known until the winner is found.

OLG also informed ticket holders located in Lampton County through the Lotto 6/49 draw on Saturday that the second-place winner, size CA$207,248.90, has been decided. Ontario continues to dominate the draw because it also won CA$1 million tickets in the Niagara region. The province is also claiming three more tickets for CA$100,000 as encore prize money.

Last week, OLG reported a significant lottery winnings recorded in Ontario, this time in North Bay. A lottery worth 710,202.80 CA dollars was won by best friends Lausanne Timbrell and Trevor Caldwell. The two have been playing the lottery for quite some time now before their luck paid off greatly in the lottery on November 20.

In addition, in late November, the Ontario Crown Agency reported another major lottery win as Glen Weitz, from Windsor, won a significant amount of cash. The winner working as a construction worker is now CA$3 million richer thanks to one life-changing ticket from the Triple Million game. The prize is the biggest win of the year in the Windsor-Esex area.
